GLASS - Global Alignment System

GLASS is a tool for aligning pairs of homologous DNA sequences. It is designed for aligning long, divergent sequences that contain blocks of moderate to strong homology, such as orthologous/paralogous pairs of genes. This page provides access to an online GLASS server. Individual GLASS queries can be submitted through the form below. The resulting alignment will be returned via email. This server is set up for demonstration purposes. If you wish to use GLASS for batch jobs or very large sequences, please download the stand-alone version.
